You would share what you need, and your expectations – timeframe, goal, what it is that you need from me (e.g. interviewing people or liaising with designers) to meet your objectives.

I typically charge an hourly rate, especially for ongoing, piecemeal work or projects that have undefined boundaries, but can quote a one-off price for a discrete project.

In either case, we’d agree parameters together.
